Feature Requests: Partner with race providers/organizers for mapping?

    Hi...I'm doing my first Triathlon this weekend and the mapping they have offered it really weak.  Seems like it would be extremely helpful for race organizers to have their races listed in the "Races and Events" area so that competitors could get a good look at the course ahead of time.

    www.3disciplines.com is the company organizing the Boyne Triathlons in Michigan this weekend.  Can you guys contact some of the bigger organizers in each state to offer some mapping for their races?

    Hi ceningolmo-

     We would love more race organizations to use our site.  We've designed the races and events section to be open to all race organizers, and our basic listing is free.  We do our best to reach out to as broad an audience as possible, but there are a lot of races out there.

    While we do try and spread the word, the community can help us in this venture.  As such, we encourage participants such as yourself to contact race directors and others in your community to use our site if you believe it will help your local race community. 

    You might be surprised how effective this method can be, as race directors are often more likely to respond to feedback from their local races than to an unsolicited sales pitch.

    Fair enough... I'll make sure I mention it when meet the race director this weekend.  Mapping the tri course on this site just makes sense to me, so I'm hoping to get a good response.
