Hi, The elevation is not being calculated correctly. I looks like the elevation is being captured correctly, but the total calculated gain and loss is incorrect.  I looked at the .cvs spreadsheet and the calculations were totally wrong.  Here is the map I did:

    http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/wa/bellevue/152981754489

This is the map of the Flying Wheels Century in Seattle WA.  The tolal gain is close to 4K feet (8K gain and loss).

I would like to provide the org with a nice graphic for their website showing the elevation of the ride.  The graphic on this site has a copyright on it.  Is there a way that I can get rights to share it on a website (great advertisement, about 2000 riders will see it).

    Hi Cheryl-

Thanks for wanting to share your maps, I can help you with that.

But first, to answer your question about elevation, it's actually a bit tricky.  We know that our elevation isn't perfect in all cases, but it's not as simple as adding up all the raw data.  For more information about this, check out this FAQ topic.

As for sharing your routes on another website, we allow and encourage this.  From the 'view route' page from your century, you should find an "add to your website/blog" link.  From there you should find instructions to do exactly what you're looking for.

    I hope this helps.
