    Hi,

With my trainers getting regularly wet in this miserable weather, they really need a good clean. I know it is unforgivable to put them through the washing machine and I don't want to wreck them. So how do you clean yours?

    Any advice?

    Thanks

Well, i put my trainers in the wash once or twice and I advise you not to do it.  The cushioning doesnt feel the same.  So instead I just used some fantastic and sponge and a toothbrush and it worked well, didnt completely clean them but they did look a little better.

I thoguht running in the rain was cleaning them.  After getting them wet I pull the insole out and placenthem in front of a dehumidifier to dry quickly.  My shoes only last about 3 months so they don't look too bad before they are worn out.

I just pull out the insole and run them under warm water with a little bit of washing up powder (smells nicer) and give them a gentle scrub with a nail brush to get the mud off.  leave them to dry in the airing cupboard or boiler room usually dry within 24 hours and they smell tons better too.
