Run Description
On a sunny day in Manchester, there are few places to be nicer than the Hands Across the Merrimack footbridge. Starting on the west side, this run crosses the bridge; does a figure eight around the Fisher Cats' ballpark and the NYCOA building near Hesser College; then crosses back over the bridge to finish at the start.

START & FINISH

This course starts and finishes at St. Benedict's Academy, 85 3rd St., Manchester, NH.

PARKING

There is plenty of on street parking in the neighborhood, as well as parking lots at the academy and where the Riverwalk crosses over 2nd Street (which parallels 293).

NOTES:

After crossing the bridge, turn right onto the Riverwalk to head north toward the ballpark.

After the ballpark, turn right up the hill (the first of two moderate hills), passing the Hilton Garden Inn and continuing toward the Riverplace condominiums. The road ends back at the Riverwalk. Bear left, continuing south on the walk.

After crossing under the Queen City Bridge, turn left up a dirt road. This is the second hill. After passing the NYCOA building on your right, turn right and run between the NYCOA and Hesser College buildings.

After the building, turn right onto Sundial Ave. At the bottom of the hill, turn right, rejoining the Riverwalk.

Cross back over the footbridge and return to the start.
