only problem I found was that between miles 14-16 you either on the road or soft shoulder with quite some traffic.

This is a great route. However, like gchutrau mentioned, miles 14-16 are not on a bike trail. I started my ride from the start of Terry Hershey at Beltway 8, making the total trip almost 30 miles.

Only problem is that the Baker reservoir (G. Bush Park) floods during long rainy periods. The route crosses the reservoir. The trail will be underwater.
Also watch for snakes in the reservoir part. Other than that , is a beatiful route
