Here are your Breakiron vitals. 2.73 miles from a Pixler road start at rt. 7 and 936 feet of climbing for a grade of ONLY 6.5%. Beware, numbers can deceive. The .5 miles between the bike path and the open field on the left is a 19.4% average grade, ouch. This is a very hard climb. The Fat Cat's best time is 25:12. Record times by Gunnar,Betsy are 15-16 min.; nowadays I'm at 24 min;beautiful westward views reward the climber ;Breakiron -a legendary Morgantown climb!
