This route takes you from the Historic Cotton Mill Studios in the Jingletown section of Oakland CA... east towards the hills to Montclair... to Temescal Park... up Tunnel Road (to the high point near Sibley Park, 1450ft elevation)... then south along Skyline... to Joaquin Millare Road for a fast descent... a dog leg over to 35th... then back home. It's a fun and challenging workout which is "classic" Oakland, in the sense that you go from an industrial area, through the "semi-hood" up a canyon road into the forested hills overlooking the entire east bay with views of Oakland and San Francisco... an amazing spectrum.
