Description of this Bike Ride

Tha classic Laguna Triangle. Start in Pine Valley at the grocery store parking lot and head southeast out of town to Sunrise Hwy up a steep but short 'warmup' climb. Turn left onto Sunrise Hwy and start the 10 mile 5%+ grade. Enjoy the long downhill to Hwy 79 at Cuyamaca Lake. Turn left on 79 and continue until Old Hwy 80 and turn left. Climb the short hill to Guatay then it's a fast downhill and flat ride back to the start. There are stores at the top of Laguna and at the lake to refuel if needed. Hot in the summer and low traffic on weekdays and early on weekends.
