Description of this Bike Ride

Depart from the Greengrocer Cafe and Bike on the corner of Ellesmere and Clifford Streets. There is plenty of parking in Ellesmere Street. Head straight up Clifford Street for 1km until you reach Deccan Street and turn right. At 1.25km pass straight through the roundabout into Fitzroy Street. Keep riding straight ahead through town. You will cross the Wollondilly River at 2.5km and this road turns into Crookwell Road and will take you all the way to Crookwell. Be careful in the first 20km as the shoulder can sometimes be small a you can experience a some traffic. The ride to Crookwell is mostly climbing. At 24.60km, cross the wall at Pejar Dam. A good place to stop for a picnic. At 33.4km, there is a viewing area for the Windmill Farm. Here is the highest point of the ride with some great views. At 44km, you are at the centre of the main street.
