Starts at Peabody Sq./Salem Line. Goes to Canal St Salem (Salem Sate College) onto the "rail trail" bike trail and dumps you in Marblehead. Continues past Devereaux Beach and into Marblehead Neck. Halfway mark is at the Marblehead Lighthouse (great Summer sunsets) and back via Rt 114 into Historic Salem, Pickering Wharf and Salem Willows. Eventually taking you back to Boston St Peabody/Salem (I actually biked, not ran this). Great ride. Very scenic. Plenty of worthy stops (food, shops, parks).Great real estate as well. No wonder why Forbes.com rated Essex County the #1 overpriced real estate in the U.S.
